Thanks to its size and design, and to the careful choice of materials used, the new 055XPRO3 delivers an unprecedented level of stiffness. The ball head allows multi-angle repositioning, with fast lock and unlock action.
The tripod’s key feature is the 90° centre column now with a new mechanism which can be extended vertically or horizontally. Thanks to the new Quick Power Lock levers, the legs are fast to extend and adjust, and keep the tripod stable and rigid. From folded, the sections of each leg of the tripod can be released in a single movement. The tripod also features intuitive ergonomic leg angle selectors that allow each leg to be independently set to any of the preset angles; a rotating bubble level built in to the top of the centre column, and an Easy Link connector for supporting additional accessories.
The included ball head enables you to fine tune your composition thanks to separate knobs for both the ball and the 360° panning, as well as a friction control knob for more exacting placement. The 200PL quick-release clamp and plate enables quick camera attachment and removal, and two bubble levels helps to ensure your horizon is level. A numbered scale around the base of the head makes repeating exact pans an easy task.
